The Final cuts

Hi everyone! It’s Natalie, and in today’s blog, I want to talk about the editing process surrounding the film itself. As we know I did incorporate a lot of different effects and everything having to do with the sounds. As I felt it would've given more to the film as emotion for the audience to really get that feel. Now one of the main parts of the film that was one of the most challenging had to be the beginning scene of Luna waking up and having that important scene with Robin. Reason being that I had to figure out a way to slow down this part of the scene as I felt the actors were moving and talking too fast. By which in the scene as well the Luna is walking up and like normal while we wake up normally we feel a little sluggish and I wanted It to look like that. Now the editing software I used was CapCut and with that I figured out a way to slow down the clip by 5.6 seconds then the original speeding point. And with that I had to make sure that the voice wasn't slowed too much where it would deepen. So with the editing software I was able to keep the original speed of the talking and not let the movements be slower. Another edit I had to make was to edit the license plate number of Rin's car, due to safety. So with that a managed to to find a blurring pen to trace over the license plate and in doing do I was successful and her license plate was able to be concealed. Another editing factor was incorporating the background music as well as the effects. I decided to use various haunting background music as I felt all of the clips did not have the same feel and level of tension. So with Capcut I picked the specific scenes with the background music and I managed to figure out the volume certain clips should have with the music. But as of right now that is al that is going on editing wise. So, ill talk to you guys soon. Bye!
