Group Blog: Music Video

 Hi guys, it's Natalie! For today's blog I'm going to be talking about the music video that I will be working on and I will be working with Reagan Haskell and Hayley Maier. Even though I have been friends with both of them beforehand, when first hearing about the music video project so many ideas came to my head of what I could maybe do. And I thought of using a Taylor swift song immediately. And when I thought of Taylor swift they were the first two people who came to mind. All of us can say we have undeniable love for her.  So when it came for us to choose a song we chose Getaway Car- By Taylor Swift. Now when choosing this song it was obviously already one of our favorites. But, with it being one of our favorites we know what the song is basically all about and we already came up with plenty of ideas. So towards why all of us agreed to choose it, mainly focuses it on how we know the song well enough to already have a plan with what we want to do. With us already knowing the song we'll all of us won't have to take time to memorize it as all of us will already know it. And towards the ideas we obviously know we will film some scenes in a car with maybe some running around places. All of us want to match with what she's saying in the song in the scenes. Due to how the song is very descriptive with her emotions as well helps how that way all of us know how we want the acting to be and look like. And with her explaining what she's is trying to kind of show what's going on in the scenario there's sets and props that all of us can be able to find to go too and get. To make the music video much more lively and surreal. The song we are using is a lot non- explicit song as well and we are using the original one from her album Reputation. So, overall within the next couple of blogs I will be discussing and updating on the process of creating the final piece for the music video process. Thanks for reading and see you next time!
