Reflection Questions
What technology did you learn to use?
Towards technology I was able to successfully learn how to use CapCut. I had heard of it before as my dad has a GoPro and when my brother uses it to make this video that's the editing software you can use with your GoPro. But, I can say when learning to use it I actually found it pretty fun, and in the future I can see myself using even more transitions and using more audios instead of one. While using it as well I learned to grab sound from different apps and edit them to match the videos. With the sound to I learned how to not get copyrighted as well. Due to how when I put my original song it was partially blocked on YouTube. But then I later learned how I can use music that CapCut allows and checks too see if it could get copyrighted. Also how to input pictures from my phone and other camera devices into the video as well. I learned how to embed as well by how I transferred it to Youtube to Blogger. Overall I learned so much from this experience and I would like to do it again.
What did you learn about the process of putting a project together?
When using a tool like Capcut expect to do fix stuff over and OVER again. When putting all the pictures I made sure that the pictures added up to the beats of the music. And with going that I had to constantly had to fix how long I wanted the video to show the pictures. But, other than that the song was probably my biggest issue. Mostly due to the fact of the videos I used they weren't going on mute correctly on CapCut. So I had to go all the way back and snippet them to an appropriate length. With muting them. Towards the music too it was a struggle. As I mentioned the original sound I had put got copyrighted. So I had to go through various sounds while re-downloading TikTok to not get the copyrighted. Which honestly took the longest time. So with that I learned to not go through that again with also making sure I have some safety songs just in case.
What do you think you can do to make the next project better?
Honestly I don't have much I'd think I want to fix on this project as I thought it was pretty good. I'd definitely test out the tools I'm planning on using beforehand. Like the sound process to see what allows and what doesn't. With also seeing how it all looks with the stuff I'm adding in. Because if it doesn't look much more put together I might be doing something wrong. But, besides that I would like to learn how to use some kind of transitions as I would've liked to add some. I didn't really know how that stuff worked though. So I defiantly want to learn so I can do it next time. And with that Mayne doing a voice over too. As well as adding text. So the viewer can maybe grasp a better understanding of what I am showing.
